Bernward Koch is a master of melodies with few notes. Composer and pianist Bernward Koch devoted his second album to the Maledives Islands because his debut album
"Flowing" enjoys considerable popularity on that group of islands. On the American west coast too, many people are fond of this lovely, uncomplicated and relaxed music. He is the only German musician represented there on two samplers, whose entire revenue will be donated to AIDS help organizations.
So far over 350.000 of these CD’s and MC’s have been sold. This album became a great USA success in 1993 and found a place in the Billboard‘s New Age Charts. Supported by his wife - CHRISTIANE BÖHM — on the flute, and his brother — CHRISTOPH KOCH — on percussion, this album is, so to speak, a family project.
