The hightech-man's longing for untouched nature is growing. The faster our omnipresent technology penetrates and takes over our everyday life the more we long for the simplicity of primordial nature. How can we balance the fastness of data highways? By slowing down. And walking through nature is one way of doing this. "Light Walking".
This is, what this compilation is dedicated to - with many of the most successful titles of "New Instrumental Music" from the Erdenklang music label. It is about experiencing nature with all the senses.
The "Rothaarsteig", a 160 km long hiking path in Germany, is full of sensual impressions. Overwhelming views from ridges, fragrant mountain air, soft forest ground in quiet woods, idyllic meadows, deep valleys with peaceful villages. Here it is easy to withdraw from the forces of civilisation.
This melodic and softly rhythmic instrumental music helps the listener to tune into to the landscape and experience some beautiful days or to remember a pleasant relaxing time in nature.
